How the LocalBench works
Five independent advisors read every final report before you do. This is how we keep ourselves honest. It turns independence from a promise into a step we cannot skip.

Every recommendation states the review date, the disciplines represented, and any conditions or dissent. Independence isn’t a claim here — it’s a stamp you can read.
Five lenses, five disciplines
Each advisor watches for a different way a big decision can go wrong:
- Public systems. Roads, water, power, planning rules, and how a place is run.
- Legal and risk. Rules, contracts, and paperwork. This does not replace your own lawyer.
- Education. Whether a school or college suits the student.
- Travel and logistics. Seasons, roads, venues, and backup plans.
- Business. Whether a plan is practical for a company and its staff.
How a review runs
One advisor leads. It is the one closest to your kind of decision, and they read the report in full. The other four do a shorter check. Each of them asks the same five questions. Have we missed a risk? Is any conclusion unsupported? Does anything clash with what we know about this place? Have we said something outside our expertise? Does anything need a specialist to verify it?

What your report states
Your report names the date the panel reviewed it. It names the fields they came from and what they checked. If an advisor disagreed or added a condition, that is written down too. You always know what was checked and what was not.
Conflict governance
Before each case, advisors tell us about any link they have to a school, area, venue, or vendor we are assessing. If there is a link, we replace that advisor for that case. Every advisor signs agreements on confidentiality and conflicts of interest.
Your identity stays private from the panel
We never share your name or personal details with the panel. They judge the decision on the facts, not on who you are. That is what keeps their answer honest.
You’ll know who reviewed your case
We do not publish advisor names on this site. Once we are working together under a mutual non-disclosure agreement, we show you the field and verified credentials of everyone who reviewed your case. That protects them and you.
